God is in the midst of People.
Dear friends. In the old testament, God dwelled in the midst of people ( Exodus 25:8), In the mids of people, the Lord liked to have a holy place. It seems that God always likes to live in the midst of us.
The Angel of God in Exo 3:2, appeared unto him in a " flame of fire" out of the midst of a bush. In an another incident , we can see that in Exodus 24:16, the Glory of Lord abode upon Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. On the seventh day, the Lord called Moses from within the cloud. The God in the old testament never shown himself in the midst of the people.
Where as in New Testament, God likes and loves to live in the mids of us Acco. to St Matt. 18:20, for where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there in the midst of them. Our Lord Jesus Christ gives an assurance to be with us. When we pray together even in his death on Calvary, he was in the midst of two' thieves. It is a clear picture of his love towards mankind.
On the resurrected day, St. John 20: 19-26. Being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and said unto them," Peace be unto you,' So, God our Lord always likes to be in the midst of us.
When the two disciples ( Luke 24: 13-32), went that same day on the resurrection, to a village called Emmaus, they talked together all these things which had happened. And it came to pass, that Jesus himself drew near, and went with them. Jesus was a stranger in their meeting but he was in the midst of them.
Our Heart is the center of our body. It is very important organ to survive. In the same way, Jesus Christ is the center of our life.If we put Jesus the first in our life, he will put us first in our success of life.
God insists us the personal prayer, family prayer and the church prayer to associate with us. Lord come into our life. Amen.
