Advent Sunday : Celebrating the Promises of God: கடவுளின் உறுதி மொழிகளை கொண்டாடுதல்: ரSt. Luke:2:10-14, Romans: 5:1-8.

 Introduction:
The birth of Jesus Christ was first proclaimed by the prophet Isaiah 7:14 and 9:6, some BC 700 years, then it was affirmed by the prophet Zechariah 9:9 BC 520 - 518. and finally the prophet Micah 5:2 reaffirmed the coming of Christ in 500 BC . It's very clear that the birth of Christ was predetermined. In Deuteronomy 28:6, there is a blessing word on coming and going. It's fully suitable to Jesus. Jesus coming is a promised event for celebration.
What's Advent?
 Advent means the coming of an important person. The Advent is the preparation for the commomeration of the birth of Jesus Christ.  The advent comences on the fourth Sunday before Christmas, falling between 27th Nov and 3rd Dec.  It ends on the Christmas Eve on 24th December. Within the days, we never forget Nov 30 , the St. Andrew's Day.
The Advent of Christ brings 6 Promises to the world to celebrate: jSt. Luke 2:10-14  
We have to celebrate the fulfilment of promises by God through Mother Mary and Elizabeth to give birth the promised children Jesus and John the Baptist. John is a prophet and forerunner to prepare the way for Jesus .
When the Angel brought the good news on Jesus ' birth; 
1. Do not be afraid:
     Fear is the deadliest health disorder which kills millions of people every year. If we trust in our living God, he will give us the confidence and strength to face the fear in our lives. He is our saviour who removes our fear .

2. Brings Good News:
     The Angel brings the good news of Jesus birth.  The birth of Christ is good news to the whole world. The birth of Messaiya brings forgiveness and salvation that leads to eternal life. Jesus belongs to every people and every nation. The good news of Jesus Christ is to establish the kingdom of God on the earth.
3. Brings joy:
      The birth of Jesus Christ brings joy to all mankind. Psalm 98. Celebrating the birth of Jesus.  We should not live in sins and sorrows.He gives everlasting joy. Philip 4.4 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I say , rejoice. Matt 5:12. Rejoice and glad. Jesus comes to the world to save us from our sins.
4. Glory to God in heaven and earth:
     It is our duty to glorify God in our day today life. We must praise and sing the glory of god. Matt 5: 12. Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your father in heaven.   it is our prime duty. As Christians, we should not bring dishonour to Jesus Christ.
5. Peace on Earth:
     The birth of Jesus Christ brings peace on Earth.Jesus peace is eternal.He says,  'I leave you peace with you, I do not give as the world gives. St John 14: 27. Because Jesus is Prince of peace. He is calling us to be a peacemaker. Matt 5:9. The peace makers are called the children of God. Let the resurrected God should be born in us rathar than the Child Jesus.
6. Love toward mankind:
     According to St. John 3:16, God so loved the world.  'God has sent his son to redeem us from sins and sorrows. God wants everyone to be peace with everyone.  Romans 5:8, while we were sinners, he showed his great love for us by sending his son Jesus Christ. St. John 15:12,!"This is my commandment, that you love one another, as I have loved you '. In II Corinthians 5:14 "For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died." Let Jesus comes to our hearts and homes, to live for ever. When he reigns in us, the advent is accomplished. Oh! Jesus comes to us and abide in us   Amen.

முன்னுரை:   கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் பிரியமானவர் களே! உங்கள் அனைவருக்கும் லெந்து கால வாழ்த்துக்கள். இவ்வார முதல் வெள்ளியில் நாம் சிந்திக்க இருக்கின்ற தலைப்பு, " ஆண் சீடர்களும் பெண் சீடர்களும்"  நம் திரு விவிலியத் தில் சீடர்கள் என்பது இயேசு கிறித்துவை பின்பற்றியவர் களையே குறிக்கிறது. சீடர் என்ற வார்த்தை, அதரன்ட் (adherent) என்ற லத்தின் மொழியிலிருந்து வந்தது. பின்பற்றுகிறவர் (follower) என்ற பொருளாகும். கிரேக்க வார்த்தை, "அத்தட்டஸ்' (athetes) என்பது, " கற்றுக்கொள்"  என்ற பொருளாகும்.  உண்மையில் வேதத்தின்படி, சீடர் என்பவர் ஒரு தலைவருடைய வாழ்க்கையையும் , (life) போத னையையும் ( teachings) பின்பற் றுகிறவர்கள். எபிரேய மொழியில்  "டால்மிடிம்"  (talmidim) என்ற வார் த்தை சீடர் என்பதை குறிக்கிறது. லத்தின் மொழியில், சீடர் (disciple)  என்ற வார்த்தை டெசிபிளஸ்   (discipulus) மாணவர், என்ற வார்த்தையாகும். இயேசுவின் சீடர்கள் 12 பேரும் அப்போஸ்தலர் என அழைக்கப் பட்டனர். இவர்கள் இயேசு கிறித் துவால் தெரிந்து கொள்ளப்பட் டவர்கள். இவர்களில் நான்கு பேர் இரண்டு குடும்பங்களில் வந்...

முன்னூரை:   கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் பிரியமானவர் களே! உங்கள் அனைவருக்கும் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் இனிய நாமத்தில் வாழ்த்துக்கள். லெந்து கால நான்காம் வெள்ளிக்கிழமை யின் தலைப்பாக கொடுக்கப்ப ட்டிருப்பது  சனகரீம் சஙகமும் உரோம பேரரசும்.  சனகரீம் என்ற வார்த்தை எபிரேய, அராமிக் வார்த்தை. இதற்கு, "சபை" or "ஒன்றாய் அமர்ந்திருத்தல்" என்று பெயர். இந்தியாவில் உச்ச நீதி   மன்றமும் (Supreme Court)   மாநில அளவில் ( உயர்நீதி மன்றம்'( High Court) இருப்பது போல ஒவ்வொரு நகரத்திலும் ஒரு தீர்ப்பாயமாக அமர 23 நீதிபதிகளைக் கொண்ட ஒரு சிறிய சனகெரீன் அமை க்கப்பட்டது. 70 மூத்த நீதிபதிக ளைக் கொண்ட ஒரு பெரிய சன்கெரீன் மட்டுமே இருந்தது இது ஒரு யூத சட்டமன்ற மற்றும் நீதித்துறை சபையாகும், இதன் தலைமையிடம் எருசலேம். மோசே இச்சங்கத்தை முதன்முதலில் கூட்டியதாக எண்ணிக்கை நூல் கூறுகின்றது.
